The world pinged

BLIP starts when something out there answers. Weather is global. Pins are local. A hatch spends a live reading and a Sortes draw — signed chance, not a lecture about cryptography. The creature that lives sits on your Bench. Miss a day and it sleeps. It never dies.

The map is not a fake AR stage. Hazard layers — fire, quake, flood, and the rest — are never spawn fuel. If the hub fails, the game shows the failure. No canned weather. No loot-box packs. No token.

Eighty die-cast holes make the closed dex. Meeting a species fills a hole in the game; this portal keeps the library public so you can read before you play. Forge next door stamps the same figurines for free. Life stays in BLIP.

Proof is the receipt: alpha into Sortes, beta out, verify when the hub is up, daily merkle so last Tuesday cannot quietly rewrite. Berries are a house ration of real hub spend — not a points market.

Something pinged. It’s yours now.
