How to get and care for your first pet
Play PingBlip for free in your browser. Hatch a creature from real weather, give it its first meal, and come back when you like.
Get your pet — freeStart
- Open PingBlip and tap “Get your pet — free”.
- Meet your creature, open the Bench, and give it its first meal.
- Return in the same browser to keep playing with your pet. Location permission is optional.
The loop
- Feed — signed invoke matching the type diet (50 pips), once per six-hour hunger beat. Bench
- Scan — roster for your ~5 km cell (30). Map
- Catch — pull a roster species onto the bench (80).
- Station — occupy a federation hub with matching type (100). Stations
- Sleep — 36 hours without food → sleeps; never dies. Evolve after five successful feeds.
Proof
Every hatch/scan stores a proof. Open it in the game to rebuild the roster from the Sortes beta, verify when the hub is up, and follow the daily merkle root.

Before you play
Do I need to install anything or sign up?
No. Open the game on your phone or computer and start in the browser. Keep using the same browser; clearing its game data can remove access to your collection.
Can I choose my first creature?
Your first creature is drawn from a starter pool using real weather and a verifiable random draw. A creature shown in a picture is an example, not a guaranteed first pet.
What if I miss a day?
Your pet may fall asleep, but it never dies. Come back when you like and feed it again.
